On the evening of December 21, the final of the second SFL multilingual dubbing competition of graduate students was held in the third hall of the north building. Ma Xiaojing, Deputy Party Secretary of SFL, and Yuan Shuhan, the counsellor of postgraduates, attended the dubbing competition. Sun Wen, Yan Jiqing, Ding Li and Chen Jingjingwere present asthe judges and Zang Zhiyuan, Sun Xin hosts. After the intensive competition inthefirst round, 13 groups reached the final. At the beginning, the Deputy Sectary Ma Xiaojing made an opening speech,in whichshe pointed out students should not only learn professional knowledge but keep up with pace so that we could make a contribution to our society. Meanwhile, she hoped that students could improve professional level through this interesting activity.
The competition was divided into three parts: English、Russian and Japanese. All the partswereattractive and interesting. Especially the imitation clip of Shirokuma Cafe by “Panda Feeder” team, was widely praised owing to fantastic performance and accurate pronunciation. At last, “Panda Feeder” team won the first praise of Japanese group and “Boom, bang, biang” team won the first prize of English group respectively.
After the competition, the judges made comments on teams’ excellent performance and appreciated their spirit, they also encouraged students to practice pronunciation and intonation for the next competition. The second dubbing competition came to a successful end in the warm applause. (Zhao Guannan）
